CALDWELL ISD WARNING OF VIRUS AT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Caldwell ISD officials are cautioning parents and students, amidst a virus making its rounds at the elementary school.

In a Facebook post from Caldwell ISD Superintendent Andrew Peters, he says the elementary campus has had an increased number of students dealing with a gastrointestinal virus.

According to the school district, many students have suffered from vomiting, diarrhea, stomach cramping, and low grade fever.

Parents are advised to keep their children home from school if they are dealing with any symptoms, until they are 24 hours free of symptoms without medication.  They are also asked to remind children of the importance of good hand hygiene, as it is the best way to prevent spreading the virus.
