BRENHAM ISD EXHIBIT OPENING SATURDAY AT BRENHAM HERITAGE MUSEUM
A new exhibit celebrating public schools in Brenham and Washington County opens up tomorrow (Saturday) at the Brenham Heritage Museum.
The latest exhibit opens at 2 p.m. at the Brenham Heritage Museum Depot, with special guest Brenham ISD Superintendent Dr. Walter Jackson.
The exhibit features historical photos, documents, books and memorabilia, all in celebration of the 144th anniversary of the Brenham public school system and Washington County schools.
The exhibit will also feature photographs and documents from the rural Washington County schools in the late 1800's and early 1900's. It will be on display until October 26th.
The Depot, located at 313 East Alamo Street, is open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, visit the Brenham Heritage Museum’s Facebook page.
