FREEPORT MAN ARRESTED AFTER BIZARRE BEHAVIOR
A Freeport man is in custody after a bizarre incident, Wednesday afternoon.

Just after 4:00 p.m., police were called to the Brenham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center to a possible weapons call.
Witnesses reported a male had ran through the building saying that someone had a gun.
Police found the man, identified as 41-year old Chad Brian Evans of Freeport. Authorities were able to confirm that there was no one with a gun at the facility.
They also found that Evans was wanted on a Parole Violation Warrant for his arrest on an original charge of Dangerous Drugs.
Evans was transported to the Washington County Jail and booked on the warrant.
