Commissioners issued a proclamation declaring October 6th through the 12th as National 4-H Week in Washington County.

After their proclamation, commissioners each spoke on the work the local 4-H club does for the county, the values it instills in youth, and the positive experiences it creates for the community.  They also made a mention of their positive experiences at last week’s Washington County Fair.

Also at today’s meeting, commissioners tabled action on approving a vendor for labor and materials to repair and paint the Washington County Event Center.  The court said the item will need to be rebid.

Commissioners also approved formal notice from Eagle Valley Development, LLC for a 15-inch natural gas pipeline crossing on Schwartz Road in Precinct One.  They also approved a subdivision variance request for a land division fronting Old Chappell Hill Road in Precinct Two.

The court then went through a series of monthly reports.
