MODEL T’S BEGIN STOPS IN, AROUND WASHINGTON CO. WEDNESDAY

Starting tomorrow (Wednesday), Washington County and surrounding areas will play host to a “T” party.
The Space City Model T club is holding its 42nd Annual Texas “T” Party in and around the county tomorrow through Saturday. Over 100 Model T’s are expected to participate.
The club’s stops tomorrow include Chappell Hill, Bellville, and Kenney. On Thursday, the group will drive out to Burton’s Railroad Depot and Cotton Gin Museum, before heading to Round Top and Winedale.
Friday, the club will stop by the historic Giddings-Stone Mansion from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. for photos, and Blue Bell Creameries and Washington-on-the-Brazos for tours.

The group on Saturday will visit Independence, the Antique Rose Emporium, Miracle Farm, and downtown Brenham. The party will wrap up Saturday evening with a sold-out banquet at the Barnhill Center, complete with a private showing of the “Dawn of Washington County” movie.
The Model T’s were last in Brenham roughly 12 years ago. Other cities that have hosted the club’s annual rallies include Schulenburg, Kerrville, Stephenville, and Uvalde.
