BRAZOS VALLEY FAIR UNDERWAY IN BRYAN
Fair season has begun in Brazos County.
The 8th Annual Brazos Valley Fair and Rodeo began this past weekend at the Brazos County Expo Center in Bryan, with cooking and welding competitions, the Texas Ranch Rodeo, and a tractor pull.
The main weekend of events starts Friday afternoon with the opening of the carnival, livestock activities, and the rodeo with mutton bustin’.
Entertainment at this year’s fair features Roger Creager on Friday, Blackhawk on Saturday, and Grupo Pesado on Sunday.
Fair proceeds go back to the youth of the Brazos Valley through scholarships and the livestock show. Since 2012, the fair has awarded over $45,000 in scholarships to qualified youth.
