OKTOBIERFEST SATURDAY AT ROUND TOP RIFLE HALL
Round Top invites the public out tomorrow (Saturday) to the historic Round Top Rifle Hall, for the 8th Annual OktoBierFest.
The all-day event, hosted by the Round Top Schützen Verein, gets underway at 11 a.m., with German food, music, and bier throughout the day.
The official keg tapping ceremony takes place at noon at the covered pavilion, with free beer served to all while it lasts. There will also be plenty of bratwurst, Kassler-style pork chops, German potatoes, and sauerkraut.
Meanwhile, the Auf Geht’s German showband from Houston, Enzian Baum, the Alpine Yodelers from Frelsburg, and the Round Top Brass Band will provide entertainment.
Entry to the event is free. The Round Top Rifle Hall can be found at 710 FM 1457, just east of Round Top.
