BLINN HODDE CENTER TO OFFER NOVEMBER COURSES
Blinn College’s A.W. Hodde, Jr. Technical Education Center will offer a slate of courses in November.
The Technical Education Center will have courses in industrial safety, forklift operations, first aid, and phlebotomy.
Five industrial safety classes are among the courses, including:
- General industry, November 13th and 14th, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The cost is $900.
- Basic safety and health (OSHA certification), November 18th and 19th, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., costing $150.
- Fabrication, November 25-27, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, for $900.
- Construction, November 26th from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., for $450.
- Powered industrial truck operator, November 15th, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., costing $115.
Forklift operations will be offered November 11-15. Classes are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the cost is $700.
Leadership Skills for Supervisors will be held November 6th and 11th, from 7 to 9 p.m. on those days. The cost is $155.
Phlebotomy technician clinicals will be Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5 to 8 p.m., November 11-26, costing $275.
A cardiopulmonary resuscitation/first aid class will be held November 15th from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., for $115.
