“Beast on the Moon”, a drama by Richard Kalinoski, begins its two weekend run at the theatre tomorrow night, running through November 10th.

Inspired by true events, the play tells the story of Aram, an Armenian refugee, with his young “mail-order” bride, Seta. The two are both survivors of the Armenian Genocide, but their painful, shared experience does nothing to help their new life in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Director Ryan Schabach says, although the play has a darker tone, it still carries a positive message.

Schabach says viewers should expect a difficult, but powerful, performance.

Show times are Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 4 p.m.
