DOZENS OF PRIZES TO BE GIVEN OUT IN KWHI HALLOWEEN PARTY

  

KWHI will continue six decades of Halloween tradition tonight (Thursday) with its annual “on the radio” Halloween Party.

After trick-or-treating tonight, kids and their parents can tune in to AM 1280 or FM 101.7 at 7 p.m., to hear special spooky guest DJ’s give out dozens of prizes.  The party encourages safe trick-or-treating and getting home—and out of the cold—at a decent hour.

A few of the great prizes available this year are a Furreal Cubby-Curios Bear Interactive Plush Toy from Brenham Family Dental, a Really Rad Robots Remote Control Bot from Brenham Chrysler Jeep Dodge, and a 32-inch LED flat screen TV from Cash Station Jewelry and Loan.  Of course, there’s the Grand Prize 20-inch bicycle from Brenham Tire and Auto.

Students at Brenham and Burton schools received their brightly colored cards earlier this month.  Those cards need to be filled out and returned to the KWHI offices at 223 East Main Street in downtown Brenham by 5 p.m. this afternoon.

Anyone who has not received a Halloween Party card at school can still pick one up at KWHI’s office.  A copy of the card, with a full list of prizes and sponsors, is available online at kwhi.com.
