DOZENS OF BUSINESSES TO APPEAR AT JOB FAIR THURSDAY AT WASHINGTON CO. FAIRGROUNDS
There will be no shortage of job opportunities Thursday in Brenham, as the 8th Annual Hiring Red, White and You! Statewide Hiring Fair comes to town.
Roughly 20 to 25 employers will be on hand at Thursday’s job fair, set from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Washington County Fairgrounds Event Center.
The job fair is being presented by the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, City of Brenham, Washington County, and Brazos Valley Workforce Solutions.
Brenham Economic Development Director Susan Cates says the employers that will be at the Fairgrounds Thursday come from a variety of industries.
Washington County Chamber of Commerce President Wende Ragonis says there will also be opportunities for people looking to start their own businesses.
The job fair is open to the public, and there is no cost to participate. A boxed lunch will be provided to all employers.
