SINK TO STAR IN NEW FILM DEAR ZOE

A Brenham-native, who has made her name on the Broadway stage, television and movies, is once-again hitting the big screen.

Sadie Sink, the daughter of Casey and Lori Sink, is set to star in the upcoming film production of Dear Zoe, a coming-of-age dramedy.

Sink, who stars in the highly-popular Stranger Things on Netflix, will play a teenager who enlists the help of her biological father and her boyfriend to come to grips with the death of her little sister.

Sink, 17, made it big on Broadway, starring in Annie at the age of 11, and in The Audience in 2015.  She has also appeared on television in The Americans, Blue Bloods and the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, prior to her role as “Max” in Stranger Things.

She has also been on the big screen in Chuck; The Glass Castle, with Woody Harelson and Naomi Watts; and the 2019 horror film, Eli.

Sink has received honors for her work in Stranger Things from the Screen Actors Guild Awards and the MTV Movie Awards.

Dear Zoe is expected to be released in early 2020.
