RECENTLY ARRESTED BELLVILLE THEFT SUSPECT INDICTED

A woman recently arrested by Bellville police, after evading capture for nearly five years, has been indicted by an Austin County Grand Jury.

55-year-old Maria Aleman, the former manager of Excel Finance in Bellville, was indicted for Theft of Property between $100,000 and $200,000.

Aleman, who authorities said eluded police by using numerous fake identities, was arrested in October after she tried to renew her driver’s license at the Houston DPS office.

Also indicted last week in the Austin County Grand Jury:

Meghan Leeschon Perkins, 27, indicted for Sexual Performance by a Child, offense occurring July 22nd.

Abel Gomez, 20, charged with Theft of Property between $2,500 and $30,000, occurring August 4th.

Winzell Williams III, 21, charged for Aggravated Robbery, occurring July 22nd.

Justin Lee Trevino, 28, for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender’s Duty to Register with Previous Conviction, from October 9th.

Shawna Biscaro, 34, Nickalos Lamont Carter, 29, Romeo Garcia, Jr., 23, Hector Mario Ramon, 23, Valentin Galarza Sotelo, 36, Tabitha Dawn Walker, 40, and Charles Edward Williams, Jr., 42, all for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
