ANTLERLESS DEER SEASON THROUGH SUNDAY; MANDATORY REPORTING REQUIRED

  

Hunters in Washington and several area counties can now participate in a four-day antlerless deer season, running through Sunday.

Mandatory reporting is required for any antlerless deer that are harvested during the new four-day doe season, along with the archery, youth only, and muzzleloader seasons.

Within 24 hours of harvest, hunters in counties including Washington, Austin, Colorado, Fayette, Lee, and Waller are required to report their harvest to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD).

Hunters can report their harvest by using the “My Texas Hunt Harvest” mobile app, or going to TPWD’s My Texas Hunt Harvest website.  The app is available to download on iOS and Android devices.
