TWILIGHT FIRELIGHT SATURDAY AT FANTHORP INN
The Fanthorp Inn State Historic Site in Anderson is offering a festive event this weekend for those looking to take a step back from all the holiday craziness.
Twilight Firelight is set for tomorrow (Saturday) at the historic site, where guests can look forward to frontier festivities, period music, visits with interpreters, and candlelit venues. There will also be reenactors, dancing, and mule-drawn stagecoach rides.
Activities will begin at the Grimes County Courthouse, where attendees will board a replica stagecoach or wagon for a ride through downtown Anderson to the inn.
Admission and reservations are not required, but suggested donations of $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under will be accepted. Tickets will be available starting at 4:30 p.m. near the courthouse parking area.
