BRENHAM PD REMINDS PUBLIC TO BE EXTRA CAREFUL DURING HOLIDAYS

Brenham Police are reminding the public to report any suspicious behavior, especially during the holiday season.

According to police, a woman was approached Wednesday afternoon in the Bluebonnet Shopping Center parking lot by a white male in his 60’s with shaggy brown hair and wearing a dark green trench coat.

The male told the woman he was a police officer and tried to get the woman to roll her window down. When she refused he pointed to three males getting into their vehicle claiming they had been following her and again kept encouraging her to roll her window down.

She refused each time, and eventually left the parking lot.

The Brenham Police are reminding the public to please report any suspicious behavior that is being observed and to call immediately.

According to police, the crime rates tend to spike during this season, so please be aware of your surroundings and always lock your vehicle and take your belongings.
