WINNERS CROWNED IN “BATTLE OF THE BARTENDERS” AT LAS AMERICAS

Bartenders and mixologists duked it out Saturday in downtown Brenham to determine who makes the best drink in town.

Las Americas Latin Cuisine hosted a sizable crowd at its “Battle of the Bartenders” event, which pitted twelve teams against one another as they tried to create the best cocktails, margaritas, and Bloody Mary’s.

The overall winner of the competition was Beka Conner of Brenham, sponsored by Arens Services.  Conner won $500 and a professional wrestling trophy belt.  Conner also won the $250 prize for best Bloody Mary.
