HIGHWAY 105 BRIDGE PROJECT CONTINUES; TxDOT EXPECTS COMPLETION BY END OF 2020

  

TxDOT officials say they expect the Highway 105 bridge project between Brenham and Navasota to be complete by the end of next year.

The $24.4 million project, contracted to James Construction Group LLC, has been underway since September of 2014.

Bob Colwell, Public Information Officer for TxDOT’s Bryan District, said the project has seen several weather-related delays over the past few years.

 

Colwell said crews are currently onsite, upgrading and updating the bridge to current road standards.

 

Colwell said, should weather conditions and river levels remain favorable, the bridges are expected to open by the end of 2020.
