BRENHAM MAN SENTENCED TO 15 YEARS FOR CHAPPELL HILL ROBBERY

A Brenham man has been sentenced for a convenience store robbery in Chappell Hill.
44-year old Elijah Holmes Jr. pleaded guilty to Aggravated Robbery in 21st District Court, and was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
Holmes was arrested back in September for the early-morning armed robbery at the Rattlers’ Country Store in Chappell Hill
Holmes was also sentenced to two years in prison for a local burglary. The sentences will run concurrently.
Also in District Court:
25-year old Jacoby Jamar Landers of Brenham received 10 years’ probation for a 2018 charge of Burglary of a Habitation – a Second Degree Felony. Landers was also fined $500 and ordered to perform 200 hours of community service.
22-year old Cameron Draehn was sentenced to four years’ probation and fined $500 for a 2016 arrest for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon – a Second Degree Felony. He was also ordered to perform 120 hours of community service.
And, 31-year old Timothy Luke Addicks of Brenham received three years’ probation for an October arrest for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle – a State Jail Felony.
He was also fined $500, ordered to attend an intermediate sanction facility program and perform 200 hours of community service.
