BRENHAM PD “BLUE SANTA” COLLECTS TRUCKLOADS OF DONATIONS FOR TOYS FOR TOTS

  

The Brenham Police Department’s “Blue Santa” Program is helping bring holiday cheer to hundreds of children in Washington County.

The department assisted this year in the Toys for Tots Washington County event, collecting two truckloads full of toys from numerous donors over the past few weeks.

The department thanks Independence Contact Drilling, Christ Lutheran Church, Walmart, Unity Theatre, Sandy Hill 4-H, Republican Club of Washington County, the Brenham High School Student Council, and Brenham Girl Scout Troop #1355 for their donations, as well as individuals who donated toys to the collection box at the police department.

In total, the Toys for Tots event will help provide presents to approximately 170 families and 442 children in Washington County.
