MAN ARRESTED ON MULTIPLE CHARGES

  

A Brenham man faces numerous charges after his arrest early Sunday morning.

44-year old Ronnie McCullough of Brenham, was spotted by Brenham Police, after a suspicious activity call in the 1600 block of West Main, just after 2:00 a.m.

While attempting to detain McCullough, he reportedly fled from officers on foot.  After a short chase he was apprehended.

According to police, McCullough gave a false name to the arresting officers.  While at the Washington County Jail, it was discovered McCullough has an active warrant for his arrest for Surety Surrender for a previous arrest of Possession of a Controlled Substance.

McCullough was charged with Public Intoxication, Evading Arrest/Detention, Failure to I.D. as a Fugitive/Giving False Information and the outstanding warrant.
