BRENHAM P.D. ARRESTS AUSTIN-AREA MAN, XMAS NIGHT

  

An Austin-area man is in local custody after his arrest Christmas Day on multiple charges.

58-year old Clarence Williams of Del Valle was arrested after police were called out to a motor vehicle burglary in the 700 block of Eleanor Drive, near Henderson Park, just after 10:30 p.m.

Authorities discovered that Williams was still in the area and allegedly in possession of cocaine.

Williams was located and taken into custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Criminal Mischief Between $100 and $750, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

He was taken to the Washington County Jail.
