WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS TO DISCUSS SALARY INCREASE FOR COUNTY EMPLOYEES
Washington County Commissioners have a relatively short agenda facing them when they meet Monday.
The court will first consider a proposed salary increase for Washington County employees for the 2020 Fiscal Year.
Commissioners will then act on the authorization of a change order for a secondary, public access drive to the new Road and Bridge facility on Highway 36 North, as recommended by the county’s finance committee.
Also in court, commissioners will consider supplemental items for the Road and Bridge facility. The items, as recommended by the finance committee, include an asphalt tank, fuel tank, Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and security items, and furniture.
Commissioners will also consider:
- A budget amendment to fund Washington County Sheriff’s Office certification pay for Fiscal Year 2020.
- Granting authorization to the county treasurer, county auditor and county judge to make budget amendments and line item transfers, if necessary, to close the 2019 fiscal year.
Commissioners will meet Monday morning at 9 a.m., at the Washington County Courthouse.
