NEW YEAR’S EVE CELEBRATIONS IN THE AREA

  

If you’re still looking for plans tonight (Tuesday) for New Year’s Eve, there are no shortage of celebrations in the area set to ring in 2020.

Deep in the Heart Farms, a new wedding and event venue just outside of Brenham, will celebrate its grand opening and a New Year’s Bash tonight. Doors open at 5 p.m. at the venue, at 8351 Highway 105.  The celebration will feature live music from Wade Bowen, Mason Lively, Jamie Lin Wilson, Wesley Westbrook, and Kyle Porter.  There will also be food trucks, drinks, and a fireworks show at midnight.  Tickets are $25, and can be purchased here.

Brenham Elks Lodge will host its New Year’s Eve Dance beginning at 8 p.m. The Risky Liver Band will perform throughout the evening, and there will be a celebratory toast and breakfast at midnight.  Advance tickets are $20 per person, and $25 at the door.  Brenham Elks Lodge is located in Brenham at 400 East Germania Street.

Silver Wings Ballroom’s New Year’s Eve Dance begins at 7 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by Southern Daze, and black-eyed peas will be served at midnight.  Tickets for the dance are $15 and can be purchased at the door, or by calling 979-836-4836.  Silver Wings Ballroom can be found in Brenham at 4100 Highway 105.

A New Year’s Eve Dance begins at the Kenney Store tonight at 7 p.m., with the band Easy Money performing at 8 p.m. Cabbage and black-eyed peas will be served, and there will be a champagne toast and drink specials.  The kitchen will be open until 9 p.m.  Advance tickets can be purchased online at www.thekenneystore.com for $25.  Entry is limited to those over 21-years-old.  The Kenney Store is located in Kenney at 811 South Loop 497.

Festivities get underway at the Harmonie Hall in Shelby at 6:30 p.m., with the Anthony Moreno Band performing from 8 p.m. to midnight. Black-eyed peas will be served at midnight, and a cash bar and set-ups will be available.  The kitchen will be closed, but guests are allowed to bring snacks.  However, no coolers are allowed.  Tickets are $15 cash at the door to the dance hall, located in Shelby at 509 FM 389 West.

The Round Top Rifle Hall will begin its New Year’s Eve celebration at 8 p.m., with music from the Lost Cause Band. Black-eyed peas and cornbread will be served at midnight.  There will also be a community snack table, beer, wine, and set-ups.  Tickets are $20, but ages 13 and under get in free.  Tickets can be purchased at Round Top Mercantile or Round Top State Bank.  The Round Top Rifle Hall can be found at 710 FM 1457 in Round Top.
