SELECT TICKETS ON SALE MONDAY FOR RED STEAGALL AT BARNHILL CENTER; TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE FOR VINCE KING

Tickets are on sale starting today (Monday) for a cowboy celebration at the Barnhill Center in Brenham.

Red Steagall and The Boys in the Bunkhouse will take the stage Saturday, February 1st, with activities at the Barnhill Center beginning at 6 p.m.  The celebration will include a chuckwagon dinner by Jimmy Detro’s Cowboy Cookers, and a historical gunfight show by the Brenham Bandits.

SIMON SELECT tickets went on sale at 10 a.m. this morning, starting at $80. Standard tickets go on sale next Monday, January 13th, starting at $65.

Barnhill Center booking agent Sharon Brass says Steagall is “the epitome of the Texas Cowboy”, sharing his passion for cowboy culture and folklore through his music, poetry, events, and broadcasts.

Tickets for the Cowboy Celebration can be purchased to only the Red Steagall show, or to the show with a VIP dinner and shootout by the Brenham Bandits. The Brenham Bandits perform annually at Brenham ISD’s Local History Day.  Guests are encouraged to wear cowboy attire.

Meanwhile, tickets are still available for this weekend’s performance by Vince King and the Gene Keen Showband. The two will perform “The Songs of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin” Saturday at 7 p.m.

This will be King’s second appearance at the Barnhill Center, after recently portraying Elvis in front of a sellout crowd. Brass says King’s vocals and onstage persona “truly takes you back to the Rat Pack era”.  Tickets are available starting at $35.
