GIDDINGS STONE MANSION, HERITAGE SOCIETY CELEBRATING HISTORIC ANNIVERSARIES AT SPRING GALA
The Heritage Society of Washington County and Giddings Stone Mansion are set to mark history at their upcoming Spring Gala.
This year’s event, themed “Speakeasy Spring Gala”, will be held at the mansion March 21st from 6 to 11 p.m. The mansion and Heritage Society are celebrating their 150th and 50th anniversaries, respectively.
Guests can expect a catered dinner from Design II, live music from the Black Cat Choir, an open bar, and a live auction. There will also be a presentation of the 2020 Senior Belles, honorees Charlie and Traci Pyle, and remembrance of the society’s founding members.
The 2020 Class of Senior Belles includes Katelyn Dyer, Carina Gonzalez, Jordan Kelm, Megan Lampe, Brinley Linden, Makayla Meaux, Megan Neisig, Jill Rosenbaum, Emma Prewitt and Annie Taylor.
Proceeds from the Gala go directly to the restoration and beautification of the Giddings Stone Mansion and Giddings Wilkin House Museum. In addition to other Heritage Society properties, the Belle program works throughout the year to educate the community about the houses and families that helped build Washington County.
All are welcome to attend, but tickets are expected to sell out quickly. To purchase tickets, or for more information, visit http://giddingsstonemansion.com.
