BROOKSHIRE POLICE SEARCHING FOR SUSPECT IN FATAL STABBING

Update Friday @ 5:45 a.m.: Brookshire police have confirmed Brandyburg is in custody.
Original Story Thursday @ 6:39 a.m.: Waller County law enforcement officials are searching for a man they say is connected to a deadly stabbing Tuesday night in Brookshire.
The suspect, identified by Brookshire police as 29-year-old Ronald Brandyburg, is said to be involved with a stabbing Tuesday night on 3rd Street. Police say the suspect is believed to suffer from mental illness.
Anyone with information on the suspect’s whereabouts is told to not approach him, and to contact Brookshire police at 281-375-5000.
