A Guns and Hoses blood drive will be held in Brenham this weekend.

The blood donor coach will be stationed Friday at Brenham City Hall, located at 200 West Vulcan Street, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Saturday, the drive will move into the Fireman’s Training Center, at 1101 Highway 290 West, also from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

For those that arrive early Saturday morning, there will be coffee, donuts, soft drinks, and juices available.  A light lunch will be served starting at 11 a.m.

Volunteers from the Brenham Fire and Police Departments will offer childcare on Friday and Saturday during the drive, while parents give blood.  Donors will receive a free “Commit for Life” t-shirt.
