BLINN BOARD TO DISCUSS STUDENT HOUSING

  

The Blinn Board of Trustees will meet tonight (Tuesday) to discuss new housing on Blinn’s Brenham campus.

Trustees will consider authorizing Blinn administration to negotiate and execute a contract with Servitas LLC to develop a plan to finance, design, construct, and operate additional housing on the Brenham campus.

The board will also consider moving forward with the requests for qualifications for professional services required to complete, consult, and monitor the College’s three-year audit plan.

Prior to the regular meeting, trustees will meet in workshop to discuss Phase II of the RELLIS Campus project, as well as the structure of public/private partnerships for on-campus student housing projects.

Both the workshop and regular meeting will be held in the third-floor board room of the Brenham Campus Administration Building.  The workshop will begin at 4 p.m., and the regular meeting at 5:30 p.m.
