TWO ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES IN FAYETTE CO.
Two San Antonio teens are in custody on drug charges after their arrests in Fayette County earlier this week.
Around 1:00 Monday afternoon, deputies with the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office pulled over a vehicle for a traffic violation on I-10, near mile marker 660.
According to deputies the two 16-year olds from San Antonio appeared to be ‘extremely nervous’ and the driver had no license.
A search of the car turned up a plastic bag with more than 1,000 Ecstasy pills. The deputies also found a gun, with several rounds and magazines, as well as spent casings. The pistol was found to be stolen out of San Antonio.
Both the driver and passenger are charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Theft of a Firearm. They were both taken to the Victoria Juvenile Detention Facility.
