NINE SENTENCED IN LATEST DISTRICT COURT

  

 

A Brenham man has been sentenced to two years in prison after his arrest just over a year ago by Brenham Police.

29-year old Eric Michael Ellis, was charged with Evading Arrest with Previous Conviction – a State Jail Felony.

Ellis was arrested after police attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the area of Blinn Blvd. and West Main Streets.  Once the vehicle came to a stop, Ellis reportedly fled on foot but was later apprehended.

Also sentenced this week:

30-year old Cebrina Midkiff of Brenham had her probation revoked for Possession of a Controlled Substance – a State Jail Felony enhanced to a Third Degree Felony.

Midkiff was sentenced to four years in prison.  She was also sentenced to 12 months in prision for a 2018 arrest for Possession of Controlled Substance.

37-year old Christopher James Jones of College Station, sentenced to eight months for Theft from a Person – a State Jail Felony.  James was also ordered to pay $1500 restitution.

25-year old Malika Shanice Dubose of Killeen, placed on five years’ probation, for Secure Execution of Document by Deception $30,000-$150,000 – a Third Degree Felony and three counts of Forgery of a Financial Instrument – a State Jail Felony.

38-year old April Marie Krueger of Brenham, place on four years’ probation for Possession of Controlled Substance – a State Jail Felony.  Krueger was also fined $500 and ordered to perform 120 hours community service restitution.

20-year old Simeon Lashawn Felton of Houston, placed on five years’ probation for Evading Arrest/Detention with Vehicle – a Third Degree Felony.  Felton was also fined $500 and ordered to perform 200 hours of community service.

21-year old Maurice Lamon Frank of Stafford, place on five years’ probation for two charges: Unlawful Carry Weapon in a Prohibited Place and Deadly Conduct Discharge Firearm – both Third Degree Felonies.  Frank was also fined $750 and ordered to perform 150 hours of community service.

30-year old Chad Bernard Henry of Industry, five years’ probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance – a State Jail Felony.  Henry was also fined $500 and ordered to perform 200 hours of community service.

42-year old Clifford Deshon Williams of Brenham, five years’ probation for Unlawful Possession of Firearm by Felon – a Third Degree Felony enhanced to Second Degree Felony.  Williams was also fined $500 and ordered to perform 200 hours of community service.

27-year old Kelly Jayne Evertz of Brenham, two years’ probation for Attempted Injury to the Elderly – a Class A Misdemeanor.  Evertz was also fined $250 and ordered to perform 75 hours of community service.
