BRENHAM SCHOOL BOARD TO REVIEW FACILITY STUDY OF BJHS
The Brenham School Board will meet this (Monday) afternoon to review the facilities in the Brenham Junior High School.
The board will discuss a facility study of the junior high school, which is approaching upwards of 60 years of age.
Also in session, the board will consider an anti-vaping campaign and proposed resolution. According to the Brenham ISD website, cigarettes, e-cigarettes and vapes are “strictly prohibited” at all of the district’s campuses, as they are deemed “a distraction to learning and a health hazard for our students”.
The board will also hold a discussion on a grant for Raise Your Hand Texas (RHYT), a blended learning program.
Board members will then adjourn into executive session to discuss personnel matters.
The board will meet today at noon in the Brenham ISD Administration Office.
