BRENHAM ISD CELEBRATES BLACK HISTORY MONTH
Brenham ISD schools will be celebrating through this month of February with special programs and performances to commemorate Black History Month.
Black History Month celebrates the achievements of African Americans and recognizes their prominent role in United States history.
Brenham ISD Superintendent Dr. Walter Jackson says “black history is American history, and American history is our history”.
Brenham ISD invites the community to join in celebrating by attending one of several events being hosted at schools across the district.
