Davis will attend a four-day, three-night camp to explore the possibilities of veterinary medicine as a career. The camp consists of special sessions designed to showcase the career opportunities available to graduates with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.
Davis said she wanted to be a veterinarian ever since she was little, saying her passion for animals and helping them means everything to her.
Davis is a member of the Brenham FFA Vet Team, and plans to study veterinary medicine at Texas A&M after she graduates from Brenham High School. She said, through this camp, she hopes to get a better understanding of what vet school at Texas A&M has in store for her.
