FOUR BRENHAM ISD STUDENTS ADVANCE TO TEXAS SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING FESTIVAL AT TEXAS A&M
Twelve Brenham Junior High School students and one Brenham High School student participated in the Austin Energy Regional Science Festival in Austin on Thursday.

Four of those students, Emily Crawley, Cullen Halfmann, Madison Moran, and Joshua Parker, have advanced to the Texas Science and Engineering Festival, sponsored by and held at Texas A&M University on March 28th.
Crawley finished in third place in the Plant Science Senior Division. Halfmann placed first in Materials, while Joshua Parker placed third. Madison Moran finished third in Microbiology.
Several other participating students also placed high in Thursday’s competition, including Abbey Cross and Addison Schramme. Cross finished fifth in Biomedical and Health Science, while Schramme also placed fifth in Earth and Environmental Science. Schramme also received the Superintendent’s Award.
