EARLY VOTING CONTINUES BRISK PACE; FRIDAY LAST DAY OF EARLY VOTING

Thursday was another busy day at the ballot box for early voting in the March primaries.

Washington County Clerk Beth Rothermel says 414 in-person ballots were cast Thursday, 329 in the Republican primary and 85 in the Democratic primary.

Early voting through Thursday comes out to 2,930, 2,387 Republicans and 543 Democrats.

Today (Friday) is the last day of early voting.  The Washington County Courthouse Annex is open for early voting from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Early voting ends statewide today, so there is no weekend voting.

Voters waiting until Election Day on Tuesday will have to go to their precinct polling location.  A list of all the voting locations is available on the county’s website, www.co.washington.tx.us, or by calling 979-277-6200.
