GLENN SHEPARD TO HOST “HOW TO SUPERVISE PEOPLE AND LEAD A TEAM” TUESDAY AT BARNHILL CENTER
Business owners and supervisors looking to build or improve their leadership skills can look forward to a professional development seminar Tuesday, hosted by the Washington County Chamber of Commerce.
The seminar, to be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Barnhill Center in Brenham, will feature Glenn Shepard as he presents “How to Supervise People and Lead a Team”.
Shepard, a best-selling author and front-line management training expert, will discuss how to defuse tension between employees, stop toxic behavior, and bring employees together as a team. Shepard will be available for one-on-one questions after his presentation, and there will be opportunities for attendees to receive promotional items.
Cost to attend the program is $149 for Chamber members, and $169 for non-members. For companies registering more than three people to attend, the fourth person attends for free.
