TEXAS BIRTHDAY BASH FRIDAY, SATURDAY IN DOWNTOWN NAVASOTA
The celebration of Texas independence continues this weekend just down the road from the birthplace of Texas.
The 8th Annual Texas Birthday Bash gets underway today (Friday) in downtown Navasota. Gates open at 5 p.m. this evening, and at 1 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon.
On tap is musical entertainment from Noah Wenzel, George Strait tribute artist Derek Spence, Little Texas, Hayden Haddock, Los Texmaniacs featuring Flaco Jimenez, and Kevin Fowler. There will also be vendors, a mechanical bull, and a shootout with the Ole West Gunfighters.
Pre-sale tickets are available for $8 per day, or $15 for a two-day pass. Tickets the days of the event are $10. Kids 12 and under get in free. VIP Tickets can be purchased at the gate for $50 today and $75 tomorrow.
