UPDATE: NAVASOTA PHARMACIST CONFESSED TO INGESTING TRAMADOL, IBUPROFEN AT PHARMACY

A Navasota pharmacist is free on $10,000 bond, as he faces charges of stealing drugs from his workplace.
62-year old Anthony Ellis faces a third-degree felony charge after he was accused of stealing drugs from the pharmacy where he worked.
According to Navasota police, Ellis was recently fired from the pharmacy and arrested for theft of a controlled substance.
According to documents obtained by KBTX TV in Bryan, Ellis confessed to taking Tramadol and Ibuprofen from the pharmacy on a daily basis for several months and ingesting them without a prescription.
The case is currently under investigation by Navasota police and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency.
