BCR VENTURES IN BRYAN HOSTING SHOWMANSHIP, HEIFER SHOW FOR STUDENTS UNABLE TO SHOW AT RODEOHOUSTON

  

Many area students were denied the opportunity to show their 4-H and FFA projects at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, following its closure due to the coronavirus, but they will have an opportunity to do so today (Thursday) in Bryan.

BCR Ventures, at 17771 FM 974 in Bryan, will host a Showmanship and Heifer Show this morning.  Heifers of all breeds are welcome to be shown.  There will be no entry fee, but donations will be accepted.

Show check-in runs from 7 to 10 a.m. this morning, with showing starting around noon.  The show will be held in typical format, with Grand and Reserve Overall Champions.

All money raised from the event will go to the students showing.

Lunch will be provided around 11:30 a.m. from Cooper’s Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que Aggieland, sponsored by the Texas Red Angus Association.
