COMEDY COMING TO BARNHILL CENTER WITH “TODD OLIVER AND IRVING THE TALKING DOG”
Have you ever met a talking dog? A REAL talking dog?
On Friday night, April 17th, you can meet comedian Todd Oliver and his talking dog “Irving” at The Barnhill Center at historic Simon Theater in downtown Brenham. Todd Oliver’s “Funniest Night of Your Life” will deliver a fast and funny 90 minutes of comedy, ventriloquism, magic and music. A finalist from America’s Got Talent, Season 7, Todd and his talking dog, Irving, have been featured on The Tonight Show, The Today Show and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. They’ve spent 20 years headlining aboard showboats in Branson, Missouri and Nashville, Tennessee.
Besides Irving, Todd also brings along "Joey, Pops and Lilly" three wooden-headed characters that will have everyone rolling in the aisles. And you’ll meet a bunny named Alice, and 3 amazing birds that round-out Todd's comical family! Clean family fun and lots of audience participation makes them a top draw in major entertainment venues across America!
Tickets to see Todd Oliver and his talking dog, Irving, go on sale Monday morning, March 16th at 10 o’clock online at The Barnhill Center dot com. You can also buy tickets for the April 17th show in person at The Visitor Center downtown beginning Monday at 10 a.m.
Officials with the Barnhill Center say, at this time, no scheduled shows have been canceled due to concerns over the Corona Virus.
Staff at the center has increased their daily cleaning and disinfecting program to protect the health and safety of their patrons.
Officials urge patrons to “Please stay at home if you feel ill or have been in contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19.”
