NAVASOTA MAN SENTENCED FOR ROBBERY, SEXUAL ASSAULTS
(Grimes Co. Jail)
A Navasota man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison on charges of armed robbery and sexual assault.
19-year old Deeldre Richardson pleaded guilty to the charges last week in a Grimes County courtroom.
Richardson was one of two men accused of robbing a Navasota convenience store in August of 2018. At the time, Richardson was free on bond, after his arrest for two charges involving contact with girls under the age of 17.
In addition to the 15 year sentence, he must also register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
The Brazos County district attorney’s office served as special prosecutors.
