LIST OF EVENT CLOSINGS, CANCELLATIONS AND POSTPONEMENTS

  

The following is a list of additional closings or cancellations received by KWHI on Thursday:

The Brazos Cluster Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church Spring Happening scheduled for 3/21/2020 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church at Gay Hill has been cancelled.

FIrst Baptist Church Chappell Hill has suspended all gatherings. Worship services will be provided online through the website, fbcch.net.

The Chappell Hill Bluebonnet Festival scheduled for April 18 and 19 is cancelled.

Hermann Sons Life Brenham Lodge has suspended Thursday night bingo until further notice.

The Lloyd Saunders cook off scheduled for Saturday, April 4, has been postponed indefinitely.

Effective Monday 3-23-2020, the Brenham Medi-care Equipment will only allow customers in the store by appointment.  Their office will remain open at this time for calls, and orders.

The Vineyard Church of Brenham, at 1401 S. Blue Bell Rd, has suspended their weekend services and will go to an online format for at least the next two weeks.

The St. John Lutheran Church of Prairie is suspending services and activities, effective immediately.  The suspensions will remain in place until April 1st. They will be offering a drive-thru worship service with Holy Communion at the church on Sunday from 8:00am-11:00am.

The Diocese of Austin and Bishop Joe Vasquez has suspended all public Masses, including those at St. Mary, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Brenham.  This includes all weekday Masses, and the weekend Vigil and Sunday Masses.  St. Mary’s has also canceled Homebound Eucharistic Ministry and Stations of the Cross.

The La Bahia Antique Show has been cancelled.
