WASHINGTON CO. CONFIRMS FOURTH DEATH RELATED TO COVID-19, 50TH POSITIVE CASE

  

Washington County EMS officials have confirmed a fourth death of a COVID-19 patient.

The death was confirmed Friday afternoon in a Brenham man in his 70s.  No other information on the case was provided.

Officials also confirmed the county’s 50th positive COVID-19 case in a Brenham man in his 70s, who is said to be at home under self-quarantine.

There are currently 40 active cases of COVID-19, with five cases hospitalized.  Six people have recovered from the virus.  All cases at this point are believed to have been transmitted through community spread.
