70 TOTAL COVID-19 CASES IN WASHINGTON CO. AFTER TWO CONFIRMED TUESDAY; FOUR NEW RECOVERIES
Two more cases of COVID-19 were confirmed Tuesday in Washington County, along with four new recoveries.
Tuesday’s confirmed cases were reported in Brenham men in their 80s and 90s, who are said to be at home under self-quarantine.
The two cases bring the county’s total confirmed count to 70, with 53 of those cases active. Five patients are currently hospitalized, while seven have died from complications with the virus. Ten people have now recovered from the virus.
According to the Washington County Joint Information Center (JIC), the county has performed an estimated 319 COVID-19 tests as of Tuesday afternoon. This number does not include non-county residents, only accounting for county residents tested within the county.
