LEE CO. TO HOST FREE COVID-19 TESTING, WEDNESDAY

  

A mobile drive-thru Covid-19 testing site will be in operation next week in Lee County.

The cities of Giddings and Lexington are hosting the mobile site, Wednesday in the parking lot at the Giddings Public Library.

The project is a collaborative initiative between the state Department of State Health Services, Division of Emergency Management, Texas Military Department, Emergency Medical Task Force and Hospital Preparedness Program Healthcare Coalitions.

Testing will take place Wednesday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and will be offered to any individual and specifically includes testing for first responders.  Tests will be conducted by appointment only and subjects will be screened prior to approval for testing.
