DRIVE-BY CELEBRATION SET FOR LONGTIME AUTO DEALER’S 88TH BIRTHDAY
The 88th birthday of a long-time Brenham auto salesman will be observed today.
A drive-by celebration of the birthday of Eugene Bothe will take place at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, in front of Bothe’s home at 809 West Alamo.
Participants are welcome to drive down High Street and turn right on Alamo Street.
Bothe coined the phrase “There’s no deal like a Bothe deal” at the former Bothe Ford dealership for many years.
