SIGN-UP FOR ONE-DAY DRIVE-THRU COVID-19 TESTING IN WASHINGTON CO. BEGINS SATURDAY MORNING

  

Online and over-the-phone sign-up for Sunday’s free, one-day drive-thru COVID-19 testing in Washington County opens up tomorrow (Saturday) morning.

The drive-thru test collection site will be set up Sunday at the Washington County Fairgrounds, at 1305 East Blue Bell Road in Brenham, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Starting tomorrow at 8 a.m., applicants can register by calling 512-883-2400, or going online to www.txcovidtest.org.

Those who complete the questionnaire today (Friday) will be scheduled for a different county’s testing site.  Applicants looking to get tested at the Washington County testing site need to wait until 8 a.m. tomorrow morning to apply.

Once an application is accepted, the applicant will be notified of the time and location of their appointment.  Identification is required.  Transportation to and from the location is the applicant’s responsibility, and applicants must remain in their vehicle during the test collection.

Priority will be given to individuals with active symptoms, but those looking to be tested regardless of symptoms are still encouraged to call or go online and complete the questionnaire.  Not all applicants are guaranteed to be tested.
