LOCAL WOMAN ARRESTED FOR VIOLATION OF PROTECTIVE ORDER
(Washington Co. Jail)
A Brenham woman is behind bars after her arrest Monday afternoon.
Just before 2:00 p.m., police were called to the 600 block of East Main near downtown Brenham.
At the scene, police found 44-year old Yolanda Newsome, who was under a protective order for that location.
Newsome was placed into custody on a charge of Violation of Bond or Protective Order with Prior Convictions.
Newsome was then transported to the Washington County Jail.
