BURTON SCHOOL BOARD TO HEAR BUDGET PROJECTIONS
The Burton School Board will go over numbers for the upcoming school year’s budget at its virtual meeting this (Monday) evening.
Burton ISD Superintendent Dr. Edna Kennedy is expected to give preliminary budget projections for the new year during her report to the board this evening. She will also go over Letters of Reasonable Assurance.
Also on the agenda, the board will consider approval of Region VI Education Service Center contract agreements. In COVID-19 matters, it will also consider a missed school day waiver and instructional continuity confirmation.
The board will also hear reports from the elementary and high school principals, along with the athletic director. Board members will then discuss personnel and district safety and security in executive session.
